Benalmadena
is the perfect all year round holiday resort, with around 300 days of
sunshine and an average annual temperature of eighteen degrees
centigrade. The Costa del Sol as a whole has the best climate in
mainland Europe, and it has been known for temperatures to reach the mid
twenties in January and February. In the months of July and August
daytime temperatures can and do rise above 40c, and great care should
always be taken regarding dehydration, especially with young children.
The sea temperature from July through to October is on average around
